Tracking & Improving Outreach Channels for Offline Business

Motivations: How to measure the impact of ads offline? How to know how many people were impacted by an ad on a bus stop, billboard, or tv? How to encourage consumers to engage in business through advertisement in order to get them onsite? Is it possible to deliver more than just information? The “likes” on social networks are great, but what this means in terms of onsite impact?

The idea for Bumma popped up in 2018 as an answer to these questions.

Aiming to measure the ROI of outreach channels, on businesses that generate revenue with clients onsite, out of the internet.

Bumma brings advantages for businesses and their consumers, by collecting information to support marketing strategy and further business leveraging, rewarding clients for their engagement.

How it Works

  1. Create event’s ads and reward your customers by sharing benefits on your outreach channels through a QR Code or a link;
  2. When the client interacts with the outreach channel using a smartphone, the ad shows up with all relevant information and a voucher that entitles the client to the ad’s reward;
  3. Once the voucher is saved, the client can share it, expanding the channel’s reach and turning the client into a promoter of your event.
  4. When the client saves a voucher, it becomes a business’s follower. When new ads are created, it’s possible to spread them to the entire followers base.
  5. Bumma tracks the outreach channel’s accesses, the number of saved and used vouchers for that channel, improving analytics and marketing strategy decisions.

The Bumma App

Bumma is mobile-only, with apps for iOS and Android, and with a simplified PWA version, which does not require installation, running directly from the browser.
